Methven Resort is the start and finish line.

We have a 25 meter heated swimming pool and 3 huge hot pools for relaxing in after the race.

Prize giving is held next to the pool on our grass playing field.
To finish a great day we have a dinner and band.

These teams cycle the length of New Zealand raising funds for charities and also raising awareness of the benefits of cycling – low impact exercise good for the body and heart.

The event is well run by the school and a committee of pupils who are in charge of the theme and decorating.
It is a colourful and energetic evening with everyone making an effort to get dressed in there best and dance the night away.
Once again this year they have our Local band Wayne Pannett and the theme this year is a carnival setting.
Should be an excellent night.
